A little flash, a little sass, you've reached Winston, the Server for the Wlmsburg Network. There was only one page here with a couple of pointers. Now it is this page and the camera support page. Please see the note below the picture. Where you want to go?

If there is no picture, the camera must be down.

These pictures were just taken!

Click on either of the pictures to the left, you will get a larger view of the river. Click on refresh, you will get a fresh picture.

If the picture is not displayed, their are several possible reasons: the camera has failed or the power may be off, either due to PG&E or flooding. If the picture is dark (or looks like static) it is probably dark at the site; note the local time to the right. ---->>

The information at the right comes from the weather station at Wlmsburg.

Below you will see the river depth (gage height) as documented by the USGS, recorded 2.8 miles up stream from the site where the pictures are taken. The gage is located on Big Trees Park Road in the Henry Cowell State Park near Felton CA.

This "stream" drains 106 sq miles of the Santa Cruz mountains.

If there is no picture, the camera must be down.

As you can see, we now have two cameras facing the river. If you have found value in being able to see the river during the storm season or at other times to show your friends the park, we would appreciated a donation to help with the replacement and maintenance of the cameras. All donations are gratefully received. The second camera is the direct result of one such donation.

Also, for those with an interest, Wlmsburg has been flooded when the river reaches 17 ft. That is 17 ft on the gauge to the right ->>>
